For the treatment of acute, subacute and chronic fascioliasis in cattle caused by early immature, immature and adult stages of liver fluke (fasciola hepatica) susceptible to triclabendazole. Pink coloured uniform suspension which resuspends easily on shaking.
Dosage & Administration
For oral administration only using properly calibrated dosing equipment.
Estimate bodyweight as accurately as possible before calculating the dosage.
The recommended dose rate is 12mg Triclabendazole per kg bodyweight as a single administration, which is equivalent to 6.0ml Tribex 10% per 50 kg bodyweight. Tribex 10% can be safely given to pregnant cattle.
Withdrawal Period
Meat and Offal: Cattle should not be slaughtered for human consumption within 56 days of the last treatment.
Milk: Not permitted for use in lactating animals producing milk for human consumption. Dairy cows producing milk for human consumption should be treated at the start of the dry period only.
Contraindictions, Warnings etc
Care must be taken not to damage the mouth or pharyngeal region when dosing.
Clean drenching equipment before and after use.
